Curriculum Vitae:
Laurea: February 1996.
Ph.D: February 2001.
Post-doctoral Fellow and Marie Curie Fellow, University of Aarhus (Denmark), Nov. 2000 - April 2002.
Assistant Professor at INRS ÉMT, May 2002 – May 2004.
Associate Professor at INRS ÉMT, May 2004 – May 2009.
Professor at INRS ÉMT, June 2009 – Present.

Research Interests:
Professor Rosei joined INRS-ÉMT in May 2002 to develop a research program in nanostructured materials. His present activities focus on the following themes:
• The growth of self–organized semiconductor nanostructures, and their potential application to nanoelectronics and optoelectronics;
• The adsorption properties of organic molecules at metal and semiconductor surfaces, for prospective use in molecular electronic devices;
• The properties of nanostructured biocompatible materials, for use in novel implantable devices.
His expertise includes the growth of semiconductor thin films and nanostructures, the self–assembly of organic molecules and the processing and characterization of materials at the nanometer length scale.

Fellowships and Awards:
• Fellow of the United World College of the Adriatic (UWCAD), 1988–1990
